Jean W. Fulton
San Marcos, CA

In the face of physical challenges, Jean W. Fulton radiated grace and charm. She built a life complete of family, friends, generosity and faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jean (Wilson) Fulton was born October 20, 1931 and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones April 6, 2018. She was born in Oklahoma City to Lella Jean (Little) Wilson and Garrett E. Wilson.

At a young age Jean discovered the love of music. She learned to play violin as her first instrument going on to become an accomplished piano and organist. Her talent and passion of music continued throughout her adult life playing services in church.

She attended Anderson College, Anderson, Indiana where she met her husband Dr. Leroy M. Fulton. Their journey together took them from their college years to ministry in Anderson, Indiana, Drexel, NC, Sarasota, FL to founding Warner Southern University, Lake Wales, FL where she was the Executive Assistant to the President until their move to Hope International University, Fullerton, CA. She continued her role in administrative services and was an example to students throughout her life of Christian education. During her years in Sarasota, FL and Lake Wales, FL, she spent much of her summer months helping her husband's parents and in-laws, Wm. Mark and Ester B. Fulton in Daytona Beach, FL.

Jean always helped others. Her nature of unconditional love and giving of herself for others was never a question. She was true to her core belief of faith, God and love. She felt her greatest assets were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dr. Leroy M. Fulton and her sons, Doug and Mark as her third son, Kevin preceded her in death. She leaves behind their families and children: Doug's family, wife & daughter in-law Lea, with her grandchildren Daniel and Coco. Mark's family, wife & daughter in-law Christine, with grandchildren Corey (his wife Denisse), Alexa and Paige (husband Don) and her great grandchildren Jaydin, Layla and Greylin. Kevin (deceased) his wife & daughter in-law Sandy.

Final arrangements are private for the immediate family however condolences, memorials and letters are welcome

Jean will be missed here on earth and there is great comfort knowing she is in heaven where her life's belief, mission and work led her to a greater place.
